CANNABIS CULTURE - Members of Toronto's cannabis community will be hosting the G-420 parade on Saturday, June 26 in downtown Toronto. The protest will start at 12pm at Dundas Square and parade will depart at 2pm to Queens Park South, via Yonge and Wellesley Streets.

CANNABIS CULTURE - 'Free Marc' activists were welcomed by staff of Conservative MP Dona Cadman's office for the second time in as many weeks. Cadman met with protestors last week to discuss the extradition to the US of cannabis activist Marc Emery and was surprisingly supportive.

New legislation limiting the credit given to prisoners for time served in custody before and during their trials will cost taxpayers $1 billion to implement and billions more to maintain, the parliamentary budget officer said Tuesday.
