CANNABIS CULTURE - The people of Nepal held an anti-prohibition rally in the capital Kathmandu on June 26, 2009. Organized by a young man named Sujan, the rally was made up of 30 cars, decorated with pro-legalization and anti-prohibition signs.

CANNABIS CULTURE - Marc Emery returned to Vancouver City Hall yesterday to argue for a business license for his CCHQ Store in Vancouver, home of Cannabis Culture Magazine, and again the proceedings ended unresolved.

BEYOND PROHIBITION - Arrests are down across Canada this year and have been declining steadily for the past five years. However, a large chunk of Canadian society is actually being arrested at record levels. Thieves? Nope. Violent predators? Not them either. The group being targeted by police and arrested at all-time highs are those nefarious cannabis users.

The Cannabis Cup is an annual event sponsored by High Times and held in Amsterdam. Marc Emery went as the Canadian delegate, and this is his review of the proceedings.
