Fantasy fulfilled! We turned Toronto Global Marijuana March into a historic victory parade. The city hasn’t had much to celebrate. No winning sports teams. Political mess from the mayor to being surrounded by Conservative MPs. However our cannabis community continues to count down days until July 11 when marijuana possessing and personal growing is no longer a crime. A small team of people, including 22 medical marijuana patients, from across Canada made this possible.

Cannabis constitutional challenger Matt Mernagh is issuing a toking vs. drinking challenge to Liberal leader Micheal Ignatieff. Mernagh, a medical marijuana patient at the heart of Ontario court ruling striking down possession and cultivation, who becomes functional after inhaling, will smoke two joints for every glass of wine Iggy guzzles. The Liberal leader has been making serious boneheaded comments regarding cannabis on the campaign trail. Most recently in Sault St. Marie where he suggested students take up wine drinking not inhaling.

MTV is expected to be filming a 420 segment today March 29 at Vapor Central starting at 3 p.m. The Mernahuana Show which airs from 420 est to 420 pst, may start early. Depending on whether the producer allows me to webcast them filming us. Keep your joints crossed! Regardless this is possibly the most important show we’re going to do.

Finally The Mernahuana Show has come back to Ustream. Plenty of potheads are wondering whether we’re sketchy, lazy or forgetful with our 2011 webcast schedule? Last week our weedy show was interrupted by a court appearance. Court and getting banned on Ustream has interfered with our webcasting that’s for sure. We’re celebrating Canadian William Shatner’s birthday by being higher than the Enterprise.

The Ustream ban streak will most likely continue This Week On The Mernahuana Show as we haven’t finalized our switch to a new service.  You can watch the show Tuesday from 4:20 EST to 4:20 PST via Mernagh, HashMob, Cannabis Culture and Ustream. That said it will be probably the last week we get banned as we move to our own video server and bandwidth distributor.
