The Mernagh Ruling is a test case of Canada's cannabis laws and was spearheaded by Mernagh, lawyer Paul Lewin and 22 witnesses from across Canada.

Toronto G-13 Church of the Universe members learn Monday, Feb. 7 2011, whether their constitutional challenge to the marijuana laws prohibiting them from using cannabis as sacrament succeeds. The ruling will be announced Monday morning 10 a.m. at University Avenue courthouse. Reverends and witnesses from the case, which took place over several weeks in the summer, will be in attendance.

The last half-hour of our constitutional challenge to Canada’s felt like a bargaining session. We asked the court to consider striking down all the weed laws (possession, possession for the purpose, trafficking, production, production for purpose,) because Health Canada program is illusory for a majority of seriously ill Canadians. The crown recommended the judge only invalidate personal marijuana production based on my criminal charge and to give parliament a year to correct its course.

Health Canada provided medical marihuana testimony Wednesday in my trial that wasn’t overly surprising. Especially considering we had read their affidavit and already asked them the questions we wanted answers to in pre-trial. Obviously the agency isn’t going to state their program is a sham. Instead they tried to present misleading statistics.

After four months of prep, tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 17, the team of lawyer Paul Lewin and cannabis celebrity Matt Mernagh will present their argument Health Canada's medicinal marijuana program is an illusion for the majority of Canadians trying to access it.

About a year ago I wrote my first thoughts on nug porn entitled, What Is Nug Porno. It was a very introductory article to marijuana photos so utterly fantastic that potheads get turned on. Both sexes salivate at the thoughts of vaporizing, bong ripping or joint rolling the pot photos before them. These pot pictures produce a strong desire to light it up. Akin to watching pornography then desiring too get it on.
