As I was sitting in a school newspaper meeting Tuesday (I write for the college paper) my cell phone rang. The call was from an unknown number.

In less than a month the Canadian Justice Minister Rob Nicholson will sign the extradition order handing Marc Emery over to American authorities to serve a 5 year prison sentence for selling marijuana seeds....in Canada. There isn't much time to try and stop this egregious miscarriage of justice. Do your part.

Yesterday my close friend and mentor Marc Emery was taken into custody in Vancouver, British Columbia to await extradition to the US for selling pot seeds over the internet from Canada.

On September 19, 2009 cannabis activists rallied in cities all over the world in support of The Prince of Pot Marc Emery who will be extradited to the US on September 28, 2009 to be sentenced to a minimum of 5 years in a US Federal prison for selling pot seeds from Canada.

There is a horrific news story breaking out of Northwest Georgia. A young preacher who was not the target of a botched drug raid was shot while in his car trying to get away.

My mentor and very close friend Marc Emery is on a farewell tour of Canada before he turns himself in at the US/Canada border on September 19 and pleads guilty to trafficking marijuana. He is expected to spend at least five years in a US Federal prison.

This is the third Latin American country to see the light this year. Brazil was first, followed by Mexico and now Argentina.
