CANNABIS CULTURE - Activists from across Canada will gather in Ottawa to protest the federal government's new medical marijuana regulations because they do not allow patients to grow their own cannabis at home.
Patients who are currently licensed to grow their own pot will be permitted to continue producing the drug when new regulations take effect on April 1, a Federal Court judge ruled Friday.
Lawyers are in a federal court in British Columbia arguing that patients who have licences to grow their own medical marijuana should be allowed to continue the practice after the program ends at the end of the month.
