I often get asked about what I mean when I say that our Sensible BC campaign wants to "decriminalize" cannabis in BC. Some people tell me they don't like the idea of decriminalizing, and that we must legalize cannabis instead. Other people say they don't want legalization, and will only support a decriminalized model. Some people think that "decriminalization" means that people in possession of cannabis will still get a punishment, like a ticket or fine.

It's been 15 years since Ross Rebagliati won the first ever gold medal in Olympic Snowboarding. He also became the first to briefly lose his medal after testing positive for marijuana. Ross is now using that notoriety to generate interest in his new venture: Ross' Gold Marijuana Dispensary. He joined guest host Jann Arden to chat about his legacy and his green future.

CANNABIS CULTURE - Ted Smith will be touring again this February to hold community dialogues on hemp, promote his textbook, Hempology 101: the History and Uses of Cannabis Sativa, drum up support for a protest of Health Canada's proposed Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations, and to spread the good word about Dana Larsen's sensational Sensible BC campaign. This time he will be visiting some of BC's coastal communities.

A Vancouver Island man who won an all-expenses-paid trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans has been refused entry into the U.S. because of a marijuana possession conviction dating back to 1981.
