With a constant barrage of global news surrounding us, we now have the power to know that there is always a crisis somewhere- a volcano shattering peoples lives, a tsunami or hurricane, man made disasters-mostly wars- and humans attempting to control nature.

FROM SCOTT: On Thursday, June 18th 2009, I Woke up to police officers banging on both my front and back doors. It looked like the game Grand Theft Auto when the player has a 5 star criminal rating for killing cops, just police everywhere. Dozens of police officers, for what? a marijuana grow in a private residence.

I recently had a conversation with a marijuana activist leader working the Washington DC beat. He complained to me that people where I live, Northern California, have unrealistic expectations regarding marijuana law change. He said that we shouldn’t expect any major changes during the first part of the Obama administration, he has too many other, more timely problems and can’t afford to to use too much political capital- we should just wait, be patient.

With a career spanning more than 30 years working as a Cannabis Activist, Author, Connoisseur, Breeder, Dealer, Political Leader, Growshop Owner, and Coffeeshop Pioneer, Wernard Bruining has given cannabis culture his all.

They will only do the story if you request it!!! Bring attention to this and all medical marijuana cases!!!

Shortly after Christmas in 1995, police entered a middle class home looking for a meth lab, the warrant was based upon the words of a “reliable” informant. They found no meth, but even more shocking-- they found a marijuana garden so large that it could supply all of Tulsa, and perhaps the whole region.

As you may know by now, I am working on a complete rewrite of the Marijuana Grower’s Handbook, which was the first guide of its type and was released 25 years ago. I am looking for extra input from all of you!

Dear President Obama, I am writing to you to request that you intervene in the Federal Prosecution and sentencing of Charles C. Lynch in Los Angeles.
