David Malmo-Levine has been writing about - and organizing civil disobedience involving - cannabis since 1993. He has a couple of websites: pot-facts.ca, involving facts that will help transform cannabis regulations from "hard drug regs" to "soft drug regs," and pot-shot.ca, a collection of his writings and publications and (soon) videos. David is an anarchist - he doesn't need any rulers thank you very much.

In the shadow of Marc's battle with the US government, a smaller drama is unfolding here in Vancouver. I am being sentenced for three counts of s. 5(2) of the Controlled Drug and Substances Act (CDSA). Two of the counts are possession of cannabis for the purposes of trafficking and the third count is possession of psilocybin for the purposes of trafficking.

This is a little article I wrote back in 2001 ... I stumbled upon it from having to clean out my messages in the CC forum ... never found a place to publish it until now ... I think it's still relevant, what with the ethical problems found in such places as GW Pharmaceutical, Cannasat and Cannabis Science ... let me know what you think.
