I've been watching the crazy footage of police in Toronto - or should I say footage of the crazy police in Toronto. You would think these cops have gone completely nuts the way they beat the crap out of journalists and peaceful protestors in unprovoked attacks. But, of course, they haven't lost their minds - this is government policy!

In Northern California there is a debate raging among commercial marijuana growers over whether they should vote in favor of the Tax & Regulate proposition that is on the November 2nd ballot in California. Some growers fear that legalization will bring in major corporations that will dominate the industry, reducing Humboldt into an Appalachian-type county once again They say, why should we vote for this? It might be putting us out of business.

CANNABIS CULTURE - Another 'Free Marc Emery' campaign activist was arrested during a Conservative MP office occupation in an apparent attempt by Canadian officials to subvert the rights of peaceful protestors. The arrest is the third in days for members of the campaign, who say authorities are using brute force and shady tactics to keep them quiet.
