CANNABIS CULTURE - Ask anyone who knows and they will agree: Cannabis Culture Headquarters has played host to some epic parities over the years. Maybe it's something about the 115-year-old brick building in downtown Vancouver (307 W. Hastings St.) that CCHQ calls home. Maybe it's something about the fine marijuana strains being consumed by joint, bong, vaporizer and every other way imaginable by eager party-goers.

I had some additional thoughts about Michael Coren's Sun TV interview with my wife Jodie and his subsequent Toronto Sun newspaper rant (both are attached to the beginning of my last blog) about me and the cannabis culture.

I chose that title for today's Christmas blog because I do believe it is a wonderful life, and it's much too short. The Frank Capra Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life" was a reminder to: 1) never underestimate the good you have done and the good you can do in the world, 2) be grateful for the love you have, and 3) be grateful for whatever you do have, it could be much worse!

I had a lot of Christmas fun, ate a lot of Christmas food, and smoked a lot of Christmas trees at the CCHQ holiday staff party last weekend, and on the LIVE broadcast of A Cannabis Culture Christmas on Pot TV yesterday.

Long ago, shamans -- and reindeer -- in the Far East were known to eat red and white mushrooms. And then hallucinate. A Harvard biologist asks, is it possible this is the source of the "jolly" man in the red and white suit and his "flying" reindeer?

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - ’Twas three weeks before Christmas and in the East Shore, the weed was wrapped nicely, a major drug score. The buyer was waiting but police knew a lot, and busted two men with a trunk full of pot.

A two-metre (six-foot) marijuana plant decorated as a Christmas tree was confiscated from the home of "an old hippie", who is now facing a drug possession charge, German police said Wednesday.
