Matt Mernagh is author of Marijuana Smoker's Guidebook The Easy Way To Identify and Enjoy Marijuana Strains (http://amzn.to/1bRlaGm) by Green Candy Press and hosts a weekly weedy webcast The Menahuana Zone on Pot.TV every Tuesday. The Mernagh Ruling is a test case of Canada's cannabis laws and was spearheaded by Mernagh, lawyer Paul Lewin and 22 witnesses from across Canada.

Dodgers slugger Juan Uribe’s career milestone of three homers in one game was overlooked by a mysterious marijuana hat. Uribe was holding court with the LA press about his amazing game, but it wasn’t until the news clips aired that people (not sports writer) spotted a weed leaf hat in his locker.

The Mernahuana Zone continues to smoke out the Interweb with a brand of ganja gonzo webcasting not experienced anywhere. TMZ doesn’t make it up because the truth is weird and crazy enough. Debut of our new Skype segment Ranting with Russell, Amy Anonymous is in studio, and a new and improved 420 Swap. A signed copy of my Marijuana Smoker’s Guidebook will be awarded to the 420 Swap trade of the night. The Mernahuana Zone is always seeking great and not so great Skype guests who can add their $4.20 cents to any topic, preferably what we are discussing.

For the past few weeks I’ve been pondering how to present Marijuana Smoker’s Guidebook The Easy Way To Identify and Enjoy Marijuana Strains because I wanted something more than a bland book signing.

We’re not expecting university students to return in droves to Vapor Central their first day back to class, but The Mernahuana Zone will be ready to HOWL up a shit storm for them. And do it again next week, because it really does feel like I’m living a flashback. Students rise up out of your Miley Cyrus induced slumber and create a world you want to live.

We have 40th birthday celebrations happening on The Mernahuana Zone today (Tuesday Aug 27), which means we’re going to get our stone on. Karen Watermelon is recovering from her birthday yesterday because August is a big birthday month around Vapor Central.

Toronto Hash Mob have put themselves on high-ready prohibition protest alert. High-ready is the highest level of readiness before springing into action against prohibition.

I not just ranted, but frothed and possibly foamed at the mouth about CNN pot documentary by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Tuesday’s webcast on Pot TV was Guptacular. My point wasn’t directed at the documentary, which Skype caller Al Graham from PACE enjoyed, it was directed towards he’s not that popular compared to his ‘09 stump against med pot.

With the dog days of summer creating plenty of lollygagging, it’s been a challenge to really turn The Mernahuana Zone up to pay-per-view levels. Canada only has a few months of outdoor toking weather, so it’s important that we get out there and toke it up. This week at Vapor Central we gave everyone there a reason to stay inside - well over 100 budder vapor bags were brewed up via Bong Man.

CANNABIS CULTURE - When CNN was riding high in the television ratings, Dr. Sanjay Gupta was making pronouncements on the evils of medical marijuana. When it was on the ballot in many states, he stumped against it. Dr. Sanjay Gupta was goosestepping right along with DEA and big pharma about how cannabis had no medical value. Now ratings are tanking and his White House career has hit a glass ceiling and he has apologized to the cannabis community for being the Bad Guy. But I'm not accepting it.

Toronto Police Service have boldly lied to city council regarding my Yonge and Dundas Square encounter this summer in their report on vapour lounges. Little surprised I made the report, but Staff Inspector Randy Franks writing on Chief William Blair letterhead has shown much contempt for the facts. In the old days prohibitionist misled politicians all the time and this went uncheck, unfortunately for Toronto cop Randy Franks, his lies to council can be held in check.
