Cannabis-infused Dishes Star of Pop Up Events

Michelin-trained ‘Herbal Chef’ will create two eight-course tasting menus infused with THC and CBD extracts at Vancouver dinners.

One of the world’s foremost cannabis chefs will serve his pot-infused dishes to Vancouver diners at pop up dinners April 6 and 7 — and there will be no cheesy doodles in sight.

Christopher Sayegh, also known as the Herbal Chef, will create a multi-course tasting menu starring local ingredients enhanced by THC and CBD extracts. CBD is the abbreviation used to describe cannabidoil, which has fewer psychoactive effects than THC, but has a wider range of medicinal uses. Meanwhile, THC is the abbreviation for Tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive substance responsible for getting cannabis users high.
