Varieties differ in the length that they grow after forcing. Pure Indicas grow about 30 percent taller after forcing. Sativas may double in length or grow even taller, trying to reach a potential height.
Hybrids or stabilized new varieties are mostly combinations of Indica-Sativa strains bred for desirable cultural characteristics. As a result, most varieties flowered at 50 centimeters will grow no more than 50 percent taller, to about 75 centimeters. If it is mostly sativa, it could grow to a full meter.
