Duke Police Officer Drugs and Rapes Woman

Durham, N.C. — A Duke University police officer has been arrested and charged with raping a woman in Dothan, Ala., over the weekend.

Webster Delenn Simmons, 37, of Rougemont, was arrested Monday after the alleged attack was reported. He was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

The 34-year-old victim went with Simmons to a bar on Friday night, Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes said. The victim bought every drink but her last, which Simmons bought. Hughes said Simmons possibly laced the victim's drink with drugs.

NeverGetBusted Tip: The Safest Way to Fly With Pot

It's never safe to smuggle large amounts of marijuana through a public airport; however, it's important for some people to fly with their medicine and NeverGetBusted.

If you have to, the safest way to fly with marijuana is to place a small amount in the crotch area of a female, but this method is also safe for males. Airport security is primarily interested in passengers carrying weapons and bombs - not pot. Small amounts of marijuana are secondary and will only be discovered during a weapons or bomb search of a person, so it's important to hide your stash in an area that cannot conceal a weapon.

After screening with metal detectors, the police know destructive weapons cannot be concealed in the crotch, so this area is rarely searched by airport personnel. Only a K-9 alert will trigger a search of your luggage and pockets. I have no reports of strip searches being conducted in airports unless the traveler was already arrested for a crime.

Pot brownies and other edibles are another excellent choice, as long as you mix them in randomly with unlaced food.

Use this tip, fly high, and NeverGetBusted.

NeverGetBusted Tip: Reverse Stings and Road-Kills

Citizens often get busted selling marijuana because they unknowingly sell to informants or undercover agents, which usually triggers a raid and arrest.

Purchasing marijuana is safer than selling, especially when purchasing small amounts. Large purchases of pot require large amounts of money and kops often pose as "sellers" so they can seize the "buy money." These operations are known as "reverse stings."

Purchasing small amounts of pot requires very little money so law enforcement is not interested in reverse stinging small purchases. However, they will sometimes allow a small purchase to transpire so they can later make a traffic stop on the purchaser and seize the small amount and make an arrest. These are known as a "road-kills."

To avoid a road-kill, never purchase more than you and the occupants can eat.

This information is important to remember when traveling. Sometimes it's safer to leave your medicine at home and make a small pot purchase in the city you are visiting. This minimizes your risk because it's more likely you will get caught by a highway interdiction officer while traveling than getting busted in an undercover operation.

We Caught A Really Nasty Kop This Time

Our second sting was a success. Our KopBuster team assisted S.W.A.T. in the execution of a search and arrest warrant that landed a krooked kop in jail.

I tricked a recently fired chief of police, Michael Meissner into believing I was going to feature him as a good Kop on the reality show. I told him we had attempted to sting him but were unsuccessful and realized he was a good cop. This developed a relationship between us that was key in his arrest.

I need your help though. Please go to RawStory.com and DIGG their Exlusive Story on this. Your DIGG is as good as a $100 donation to us. That's how important it is. Please try to DIGG by noon tomorrow.

I'm going to express something personal here. I understand that lying to and manipulating this guy was justified (unlike how I use to lie and manipulate citizens as a drug kop) but I still felt dirty doing it. I guess those are my burdens. I'm not complaining...just explaining.

I promise to blog further details here very soon.

Thanks for the DIGG.

NeverGetBusted Tip: Never Talk To The Kops

The Fifth Amendment gives you the right to never be a witness against yourself. These are the top four reasons why you should never talk to the police.

Reason #1: There is no way talking to the kops can help you. You can't talk your way out of getting arrested. You can't give them any information that will help you at trial. Anything you say can only be used against you and not for you. In fact, during your trial if your attorney asks an officer to repeat what you told him because it will help your case, the prosecutor can and will object because it's hearsay.

Reason #2: Whether you are guilty or not guilty, you may still be manipulated into admitting your guilt with no benefit in return. In more than 25% of DNA exoneration cases, innocent defendants either made incriminating statements, delivered outright confessions, or plead guilty.

Reason #3: Even if you are innocent and deny your guilt and mostly tell the truth, you can easily get carried away and tell some little lie or make a little mistake that can hang you. The only time you should talk to the kops is in the presents of a jury. Having citizen witnesses and a court of record ensures your words do not get twisted and minor mistakes do not jeopardize your freedom.

Reason #4: Even if you are innocent and always tell the truth, you will always give the police some information that can be used to help convict you. Supreme Court Ohio vs. Reiner states, "One of the Fifth Amendment's basic functions is to protect the innocent who otherwise might be ensnared by ambiguous circumstances. Truthful responses of an innocent witness as well as those of a wrongdoer may provide the government with incriminating evidence from the speaker's own mouth." Too many Americans view the Fifth Amendment privilege as a shelter for wrongdoers.

These four reasons were taken from the video produced by James Duane, a professor at Regent Law School and a former defense attorney. His video presentation is excellent and can be found at NeverGetBusted.com.

NeverGetBusted Tip: Teach Your Kids The Value of a Secret

After reading the wonderful article, "Pot Parents: Smoking's Better Than Drinking!," I decided to to give a tip regarding children protecting their parents so they NeverGetBusted.

I've received lots of emails and heard many reports involving children telling on parents...usually by accident. One small girl triggered a raid by taking a marijuana leaf to school for a "show and tell." Another third-grader got his parents busted because he had been around pot smokers all his life and freely discussed his parent's lifestyle with his teacher. These mishaps can happen to any good parent so take these precautions to ensure you NeverGetBusted.

The first thing a parent should do is teach their child the value and honor of keeping a secret. These "house secrets" are vital to a family's security. A great way to teach this is tell the small child the contents of another person's birthday gift and brag each day the secret is kept. We always made this a fun game for our kids and rewarded them with praises during their success.

We also taught our kids to never keep a secret from us and if any adult ever insisted they keep a secret from us to immediately tell. This step protects your child from sexual predators who often demand secrets must be kept.

After the parent is confident the child understands the value of a secret, then simply tell your child all the truth you know about all the different drugs. Don't just talk about how good pot is and how evil other drugs are because that is not true.

We teach drugs cannot be "good" or "evil" because substances do not have a soul. We also teach that as long as character qualities (honor, integrity, kindness, selflessness, etc.) are not flawed from substance use, then the use of that particular substance is not "abuse." The word "abuse" means so many different things to so many different people. Some people think drinking one beer is abuse while others think the use of any illegal drug is abuse. Teach your kids to distiguish between drug "use" and drug "abuse" by concentrating on character qualities of the person and not the substance, frequency or amount of what they use.

Another good idea is to explain to your older children that if a burglar broke into your home and stated, "Where are your kids? I want them," you would lie to the intruder who was about to cause harm and say, "They are not here." Follow up by explaining you expect the same protection from them when harmful adults come asking questions about your pot use.

All parents should make it clear to their child that prohibition causes more harm on humanity than drugs ever did.

NeverGetBusted Tip: How To Spot an Undercover Kop

I worked as an undercover cop in dozens of drug stings. I bought drugs. I sold drugs. I traded guns for drugs. I did all of this under the direction and watchful eye of our American government. I feel bad for using my undercover skills to cage non-violent citizens so now I use my undercover skills to bust krooked kops.

I have been criticized by some police officers for revealing how to spot undercovers in my second film, NeverGetRaided. I dedicated an entire chapter to this subject where I explain undercover police are causing more harm to citizens then the drugs themselves. (Our drug laws are causing the violence, not the drugs.)

Police and the media make it sound as if officers are losing their lives every day in the War On Drugs. According to the FBI’s Uniformed Crime Reports, between the years 1996 and 2006, only 28 officers lost their lives during drug operations. This means that only 2.8 cops died compared to the millions of citizens who lost their lives or their freedom in the same time period. Who ever said the life of a cop was more valuable then the life of a citizen? In fact, it’s suppose to be the other way around. Police are suppose to lay down their lives to protect citizens. I tell any officers who are worried that my information will help citizens reveal their identity, to stop working as an undercover because they are causing more harm than the offender.

Hopefully these few tips will help you avoid being busted by the undercover agents who are still out there trying to score your stash.

Tip #1: Don't be fooled: when asked, undercover police DO NOT have to tell you they are working undercover. I’m not sure how this rumor started but it is not true and actually helps law enforcement. Many times as an undercover, suspects would ask if I were a cop and explain I must tell if I were. I would respond, “No. I’m not a cop and you are correct. I would have to tell you if I were.” The suspects were always comfortable with this answer and would sometimes comment on how cool the “must tell” law was.

Tip#2: The best way to reveal an undercover cop is to insist they take a large bong hit in your presence. Informants are ordered to never use drugs during operations, but often break the agreement. Police are NEVER allowed to partake in the use of drugs during operations (or anytime for that matter). In fact, I would often be drug-tested immediately after an operation to prove I didn’t partake. The test results would be added to the prosecutors file in case the defendant ever claimed I was a user. But beware: police are taught how to mimic a joint-hit by allowing the smoke to pass from their mouth and through their noses without any smoke entering their lungs. It’s impossible to fake a bong hit, so always insist on that form of ingestion when dealing with any suspicious persons.

Although this method is not 100% fool-proof in identifying a cop, as there are still a few rogue agents who will use drugs regardless, it’s a great filter, and will make you a little suspicious of any persons unwilling to hit a bong.

NeverGetBusted Tip: How To NeverGetRaided

During my tenure as one of America’s Top Narcotics Officers, I ran over 100 search warrants on homes across Texas. I am sad for the terror I caused these non-violent families and want you to have this next tip so you NeverGetRaided!

A typical search warrant on a pot dealer’s house begins with an officer finding marijuana during a traffic stop and convincing the driver to make a pot purchase from their source in exchange for leniency. The new informant and officer usually meet the next day where the officer gives the informant marked money to make the purchase. The money is usually “marked” by photo-copying each bill and during the subsequent raid, the searching officers scour for the photo-copied twenty-dollar bill to prove a clandestine purchase was made at your home.

With the marked money in hand, the informant walks into your home and scores a bag of pot. The better police film their new informant going in and out of your home but the cops do not have to be present or nearby for the purchase.

After receiving the sack of grass from the busted motorist, the narcos take about 30 minutes to complete the fill-in-the-blank search warrant for a judge’s signature. BTW: I never had a judge refuse to sign any of my warrants.

After the warrant is signed, your home is not longer protected under the 4th Amendment to the American Constitution and the police can use whatever force is necessary to arrest you and search your home.

To avoid a raid, always make money/pot transactions away from your home. If the police see you selling pot to an informant in a parking lot, they cannot raid your house. Make the transaction away from your home and NeverGetRaided!

Candi and I cover how to sell pot safely and NeverGetBusted in our second film titled, NeverGetRaided. Be sure and arm yourself with this valuable information by purchasing NeverGetRaided which supports my campaign for Texas Attorney General 2010.

NeverGetBusted Tip: Be Careful Where You Buy Paraphernalia

Beware of purchasing rolling papers and blunt wraps at small convenience stores. It could get you busted.

I just received an email about a Deputy Sheriff in Texas who is receiving tips from cashiers who report patrons purchasing rolling papers and blunt wraps. Soon after leaving the store, the citizen was pulled over for a traffic violation he didn't commit. The auto was searched and the driver was busted with under 1oz of pot.

The driver later learned the cashier has been giving tips to the kops regularly. This is not the first time I've heard of this tactic used by overzealous drug kops. It's much safer to purchase rolling papers and blunt wraps at large grocery stores where cashiers are too busy to tip off the police, or at hemp or smoke shops where they are much less likely to rat you out.

Tell your friends about this tip; it's worth repeating.
