The Sensible BC campaign has been getting some of the amazing media coverage over the past few weeks!
This month alone, Sensible BC has been covered in over 40 newspaper articles, as well as many stories on the radio and TV.
We’ve even been covered in newspapers in Norwegian and Chinese!

All of the stories have been supportive and friendly to our campaign. Indeed, we’ve had several high-profile endorsements!
The Vancouver Sun ran a wonderful editorial endorsing the Sensible BC campaign, and asking their readers to sign up at our website.
Vancouver Sun columnist Barbara Yaffe also endorsed us, writing that “Decriminalization of pot in Canada is a sensible idea whose time has come.”
Jon Ferry wrote in the Province that it’s “High time to look at legalizing the sale of pot.”
An editorial in Victoria’s Times Colonist newspaper endorsed legalization and said that “US pot votes show us the way.”
The Goldstream Gazette also endorsed Sensible BC, along with the Campbell River Mirror, which wrote that it is “
Even the Globe and Mail endorsed our efforts, and wrote “For BC marijuana advocates, Mr. Larsen’s campaign appears to represent the best hope.”
Finally, the National Post recently had a lengthy letters column with mostly supportive comments for legalization of cannabis.
This campaign is just getting started, and already we have incredible momentum!
I’m still on the campaign trail, this week I will be in Penticton, Kamloops, Kelowna and Vernon. Next week I’m not on the road, but in December I will be visiting most of Vancouver Island.
January will see me touring through much of the Lower Mainland, as well as communities such as Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
