Chatham-Kent cannabis users soon won’t have to travel to Windsor or London, or use the province’s online store, after the first legal dispensary in the municipality opens Saturday.
Much to the chagrin of the medical marijuana supporters who lined the street in front of Kent City Hall, the city council voted Tuesday night to ban medical marijuana dispensaries and collective gardens.
A proposed ban on medical marijuana gardens in Kent prompted residents and activists to fill Kent City Hall on Monday night, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
