CANNABIS CULTURE - November 11 is known as Remembrance Day in Canada, the UK and other Commonwealth countries, and Veterans Day in the US; a day of mourning for soldiers and civilians lost in international conflicts and a recognition of the sacrifices made by all victims of war.

Our campaign to hand out FREE MARC EMERY waterbottles and information at the Rally To Restore Sanity and/or Fear was a huge success thanks to the hard work of a small but dedicated group of volunteers. It didn't take long after the defeat of Proposition 19, which would have taxed and regulated marijuana in California, for the cannabis community to realize that legalization's ignominious defeat was fueled by the duplicity - some would say outright treachery - of certain greedy, reactionary elements within the community itself.

I dropped in on a marijuana shop here that proudly boasted that it sells “31 flavors.” It also offered a loyalty program. For every 10 purchases of pot — supposedly for medical uses — you get one free packet.
