This cut hails from the classic Gelato 33 cut (also known as Larry bird kush)
This plant can express as a lighter hybrid as well as a heavier chill cut.
The godfather mix mutes some of the gelato character but still a great profile!
Is this an actual cross or just a pheno of the 33? 🤔
Nose:
Herbal spice and peel notes and light pine and gas. Fruit notes pop a bit more when you crack open a nugget. Not much maple present to me but a bit of funk in there. 😘
Bud:
Quite dense and a tight trim. Bright orange stigma clusters and a lovely crack on the medium sized buds in the bag. Maybe a bit dry but not to a detriment.
Cake:
Hi Trip coverage not super sticky, but quite well developed and mainly clear and clouded mix. Not much breakdown so could be early to mid harvest.
Dry pull:
Bust up pile smells like icy pine, soapy spice floral and gas. More earth than fruit. Dry pull is very liquorice and pine with sweet spice and cake earth, with a touch of lemon peel. The gelato is in there for sure 👍
Burn:
Spice with some sweet pepper earth
Tall stacking ash with lots of grease and some nice sweetness till the end of this very clean smoke 💨
