The 60-year-old, from Worcester, had to walk her dog out in the rain with one eye closed, leaving her feeling miserable and irritated. She had such a bad squint in her right eye that she couldn’t cope with steamed-up spectacles and had to concentrate hard to turn her double vision into a single image.
