Cannabis Trafficking Ring Mastermind Jailed for 11 Years Over $7 Million Haul

An Adelaide man who masterminded a multi-million dollar interstate cannabis trafficking ring has been jailed for more than 11 years.

The District Court heard Storm Strang, 44, helped to operate the syndicate between South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.

About 1,200 kilograms of cannabis worth more than $7 million was trafficked between June 2012 and January 2013.

Strang was among several people arrested by police in coordinated raids across the three states.

Some of the participants have already been sentenced.
