FISHERS, Ind. (July 20, 2015) – Fishers police recovered 100 pounds of marijuana, $330,000 in cash, other narcotics, prescription drugs, and three guns following a multi-agency investigation.
Fishers Police called the bust the largest in the department’s history.
A routine traffic stop on July 16 led to the bust. An officer reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car and, after using a K9 officer, found 19.7 pounds of the drug and various other items, including a digital scale.
The stop also led police to the Residence Inn in Fishers and a storage unit in Indianapolis. In all, officers seized 100 pounds of marijuana, various other narcotics and prescription pills, four guns and $330,000 in cash.
