A Gwinnett County family is on the verge of leaving Georgia behind in order to gain access to a potentially life-saving medical treatment their sick daughter.
The Isabella family says medical marijuana in the form of cannabis oil is the last, best option for their seven-year-old daughter Brooke who suffers from a chronic seizure disorder.
“If there’s something out there that I can do for my child, I’m going to do it,” Chip Isabella said.
The Isabellas are part of a growing number of Georgia families making the heart-wrenching decision to uproot themselves and move to states where medical marijuana is available under the law.
