Arizona Boy Gets Medical Marijuana Card

A five year-old boy from Mesa, Arizona has been issued a medical marijuana card.

A Mesa family plans to give medical marijuana to their 5-year-old son to treat his seizures caused by a genetic brain defect.

Zander Welton suffers from seizures caused by a genetic birth defect.

He had his first seizure when he was 9-months-old and now has them weekly.

His parents say the condition, coupled with autism, keeps the 5-year-old from communicating.

After hearing how marijuana has helped other disabled kids, Jacob and Jennifer Welton applied for the card.
