2nd Annual UBC Cannabis Convention Now on Video

Videos of their speeches are now online.

The Convention, part of the International Hempology 101 Society‘s free lecture series, was held on Sunday, March 4 on the UBC campus.

Speakers included marijuana historian Chris Bennett, embattled med-pot dispensary owner Randy Caine, cannabis researcher Dr. Paul Hornby, and activist (and CC publisher) Jodie Emery.

Chris Bennett, author of three books about cannabis and religion, discusses the fascinating history of marijuana’s important role in human development and evolution.

Cannabis researcher Dr. Paul Hornby talks about the importance of decarboxylation in making cannabis edibles.

Veteran activist and dispensary owner Randy Caine discusses RCMP raids on his Langley med-pot facility and the plight of Canada’s medical marijuana community.

Jodie Emery gives the latest on her imprisoned husband Marc Emery, who is currently serving a 5-year sentence in a US prison for selling marijuana seeds in Canada.

Hempology 101 will host the 2nd Cannabis Convention at Vancouver Island University on March 18, 2012 with another great line-up of speakers.
