Miami Police Shot Protester, Then Laugh About It

More kops behaving badly: this time shooting a non-violent female protester in the face with rubber bullets and then bragging and joking about it.

You think Florida’s bad? Try living in Montgomery, Alabama. MPD loves their K-9’s…alot, and their guns. If you’re not in uniform with a badge or have a shit ton of money, you aint shit to them. And they’re racists, towards blacks and whites. Murder? Screw that! Lets go bust some potheads! That should be their motto

… you know, for the children. With their education budget.
Can we get some bigger guns please? And a tank?

Yeah I heard about this story on Free Talk Live when it broke, that is where I learned about Marc Emery as I started smoking pot (and googling it) in August 2005, coincidentally. Trust me I didn’t forget about her, from what I remember she was a lawyer on her lunch break who saw a protest she agreed with (a protest a lawyer agrees with, think about that, criminals = money = bad in her mind, very good morals for an attorney) and she got shot down to the ground as these fucks tried to shoot her eyes out through her lenses. If they could have seen her face she would probably have been blinded or worse.

    Ha, ha, ha.
“I don’t know who got her, but…” okay I forgot some parts.

Also on that night’s show was a related story about an Arizona police training squad, whose graduation ceremony was photographed under a banner bearing the slogan “Let’s get out there and cause some P.T.S.D.

Florida has a terrible reputation when it comes to civil liberties & police powers issues. It’s sad to say, but this isn’t overly shocking to me. I would rather freeze 6 months a year in Minnesota, than spend 10 seconds in Florida.

It is rather easy to take responsibility for your actions when you are not subject to any discipline, such as law enforcement agencies.

beaver worshipper… hahahahaha. I am canadian and that is hilarious.
I don’t like Canada. We are fucking hypocrites… we are about 2% different than you folks and we think it’s 200%.
Don’t feel bad for calling us out, just know that 98% of us will ignore you, because Americans are Stupid, Eh?

You can put a pig in a suit, but it’s still just a fucking pig.

    Though not related to the lady getting shot, another abuse perpetrated by the police is property seizures of pot growers and others. I think that in the US such seizures are a violation of the 5th amendment;

“Amendment 5 – Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings. Ratified 12/15/1791.

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

Well, that’s exactly what they do, seize private property and then make public use of it. It is used by the police department who seized it and the police department is a public service.

I’ve posted before on this topic. Stay away from protests. Cops love them. They get overtime and a bounty for each person they arrest. Then they take their wives and girlfriends out with the extra money they made attacking nonviolent protesters. If you don’t like governmental policies, get involved in local politics or vote, but protests just put rich, powerful people on notice as to what a vast segment of society cares about. And then rich, powerful people go about systematically taking from us precisely that which we care so much about.

After the police have their fun, then those arrested have to go through the court system that employs its own cast of characters (attorneys, baliffs, bondsmen, office workers to process the paperwork, judges) and pay a fine and have their life disrupted by going to court.

In between arrest and prosecution is the emergency medical care that results from the police brutality. This also adds money to a corrupt pharmaceutical/medical system.

The best revenge is living well, not lining the pockets of the police, the hospitals, and the judiciary.

No need for Canada hatin’ but I agree that if cops are going to come on your property with guns and flak jackets then you have every reason to believe they intend to kill you and therefore you must defend yourself. Not prudent to wait until one of them pulls the trigger, too late then. You’re being invaded by an armed gang claiming to be the police but that’s exactly what a robbery gang would say. Can’t take the chance they might be fibbing, gotta neutralize the threat. That’s why Americans have the right to bear arms, in case some police impostors try to rob and kill you.

I am a proud American, but I love Canada and Canadians. Occasionally I’ll slip a “beaver worshiper” joke into conversation or something but your outright hostility towards our neighbor is uncouth, and ignorant. Violence against police may seem like an idea to you, but have you heard of Ruby Ridge or Waco? Those people died thinking the same way as you. The police have more and bigger guns (not to mention specialized equipment and training) to deal with idiots. FYI, Cannabis Culture Magazine & this web site is a Canadian organization ran and owned by Canadian Marc Emery.

Those video are aweful to watch. Was justice served in any of them? I saw in the one where the poor girl in the drive thru was charged and the cop was “justified”. What total bullshit! Power tripping pigs like these serve to make people afraid of and outright hate police. Which leads to more cops being killed. This cycle of violence really needs to stop! None of those police officers should have a badge let alone a gun!

That why now if the cops shoot WE SHOOT BACK!! The free California Republic is coming! No canadains need apply at all!By 2010 none of law enforcement will be like that in the new republic, and we will not have cowards like canadains are, but there just subjest what do they know?… nonthing at all?

If the rubber bullet had been an inch or two lower it would have hit her eye and killed her. The cops would have had a real good laugh then. They should be charged with attempt murder. The only reason they missed her eye was because she was behind the sign and they couldn’t get a clean shot at it.

Normally I give the law enforcement the benefit of a doubt, but holy shit! That kind of behavior is disgusting! Protect and serve?! May God give her the chance to laugh last AND best.
