Oasis cubes

Can Oasis cubes be used to root cuttings? It’s the only rooting medium I can get where I live. Rockwool is illegal and they don’t ship it here. Can you give me some tips on how to use it?

Yes, you can use Oasis cubes to root cuttings. Oasis cubes are made from open-celled, water-absorbing foam. The foam uses capillary action to supply moisture to the roots. The cubes are inert and neutral, unlike rockwool, which pulls the pH up. It takes cuttings a little longer to root in the cubes, but they are easier to use than rockwool and less likely to have problems.
