An open study with 48 patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease showed that oral THC reduced agitation, improved function and mental abilities, and caused weight gain in patients with appetite loss.
The study was conducted at the Meridian Institute for Aging, and was presented in August, at the Eleventh International Congress of the International Psychogeriatric Association in Chicago.
