Ready to harvest

I have a few plants outside; I wanted to go pick them today but it is raining now and it is supposed to rain for a couple more days. I saw the plants five days ago, and some of the leaves were turning yellow. The buds are big and look ready. Should I harvest? Can you tell me a couple of tips?

Tip One: Harvest the plants immediately. This is a no-brainer ? the buds are ready and hanging out in the rain, deteriorating. Cut them down before they lose more potency or get moldy.

Tip Two: Trim the buds from the chaff immediately. Place the buds in a hot dry space with good air circulation and plenty of light until all the rain and other water evaporates. This prevents molds from attacking the plants. Once the surface water has evaporated cool the room and turn off the lights for a slower cure/dry.
