Malaysian pot-death

A Malaysian court sentenced an 18 year-old boy to life imprisonment for growing a single cannabis plant in his home. Mohamed Ahmad received the maximum penalty, which included whipping, after pleading guilty on March 30. He was unrepresented at his trial.
On May 15, the Malaysian High Court sentenced Mohammad Safarudin, 20, and Mohamed Endut, 19, to death for trafficking in 1 kilo of pot.
