The UK’s first ever cannabis pharmacy is set to open its doors to the public tomorrow but anyone expecting to get high is in for a disappointment.
Carun UK, opening in Twickenham, south London, is offering a range of health and beauty products using the “healing powers” of hemp which the group claim helps humans recover.
Michal Takac, Carun’s UK Managing Director said: “These support our immune system; restore the balance and health of cells as well as possessing anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibiotic properties.”
But those people hoping to be able to buy something that makes them light-headed are bound to be upset after bosses revealed none of the products contain enough “high chemicals”.
