Study in pot withdrawal

A study at the University of Vermont analyzed withdrawal symptoms in 18 regular cannabis users. For five days the tokers toked as usual, followed by a 45-day abstinence. According to the study, published in the August issue of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology, minor withdrawal symptoms, including anxiety, decreased appetite, irritability and sleep problems, typically set in between days one to three, peaked at days two to six and lasted four to 14 days.
