Many growers claim that starting the flowering cycle with a 24-hour or 36-hour blackout period speeds up flowering by three to four days and forces the plant into flowering more quickly. I haven’t tried this technique, nor have I seen any controlled experiments using it, so I withhold judgment. Readers, do you have any experience with a blackout period before forcing flowering? Write me and tell me how it turned out.
