CB1 for glaucoma & nausea

A study in the January 2003 edition of Life Sciences found that the CB1 receptors in the eye, and not the CB2, are involved in the reduction of intraocular pressure by cannabinoids.
A separate study, in the January 2003 edition of Psychopharmacology, showed that the CB1 receptor also mediates the anti-nausea effects of cannabinoids in rats. The study used THC and the synthetic cannabinoid HU-210.
