CANNABIS CULTURE - Today is Monday, May 19th. I have exactly one month and three weeks, 51 days, to go until July 9th, when my 5-year (1,825-day) sentence officially ends after spending 1,590 days (52 months and a few days) in prison. I got 235 days of good-conduct credit for an unblemished prison record.

CANNABIS CULTURE - Toronto’s Old City Hall is a gorgeous Romanesque building that was built in 1899 and continues to serve one of its original purposes, as a courthouse. By European standards it’s not that old of a building, but by Toronto standards it’s ancient.

For more than 30 years, marijuana fans and legalization supporters have marched on the first weekend in May in support of the cause. Despite legalization having occurred in Uruguay and the US states of Colorado and Washington, this year is no different.
