Earlier today I joined Radical Russ Belville on the NORML podcast to talk about HB642 The Michael Phillips Compassionate Care Act and to announce my upcoming speaking engagement at the University of Montevallo on April 6 at 7:30 pm.

Rep. James Gordon (D-Mobile) has introduced a bill (HB697) to add the new designer substance, that supposedly mimics the effects of marijuana, to the list of Schedule I substances.

The federal Justice Department pays to help publicize leading criminal justice research that frequently discredits the Conservative government’s “tough-on-crime” agenda.

I guess we can debate whether Rahim Jaffer broke the law and by how much. But what's really interesting is the reaction now emerging from his fellow Conservative Party colleagues.
