CANNABIS CULTURE - Happy Cannabis Day 2012! July 1 is not only Canada's birthday, it's a day to celebrate our love and respect for the cannabis plant and to educate others about the benefits of marijuana legalization.

Today is June 3rd, and there are 766 days left to my release date of July 9th, 2014. I've served 823 days, and with my good time credit, I've got 1,058 days behind me on this 1,825-day (5-year) sentence.

CANNABIS CULTURE - The Conservative-controlled federal government may be doing everything it can to crack down on Canada's cannabis community, but pot-lovers and anti-prohibitionists aren't taking it sitting down. This month has seen some major wins for North Of The Border bud-smokers.

CANNABIS CULTURE - The entire planet becomes one big hot-box this Friday, April 20, when marijuana-lovers from around the world gather to celebrate 4/20. Cities across Canada will host protests that promise to be bigger and better (and higher) than ever.

The National Post newspaper asked me to write an OpEd about marijuana legalization. It's one of only two cross-Canada newspapers, and the more right-leaning of the two; it's the paper our Conservative government reads. I was honoured and accepted the opportunity to reach the audience they have.
