CANNABIS CULTURE – On 11th September 2021, the Alliance for Rights-Oriented Drug Policies (AROD) launched a historic civil disobedience campaign outside the main police station in Oslo.

CANNABIS CULTURE – Washington state turns to cannabis giveaways to encourage residents to get vaccinated. Meanwhile, 40,000+ people nationwide remain incarcerated for non-violent cannabis offences.

CANNABIS CULTURE – House Bill 1535, which expanded access for medical cannabis patients via the Texas Compassionate Use Program (TCUP) passed in both the House and Senate last week. Governor Greg Abbot has yet to sign the bill, but most cannabis advocates agree he will sign “any bill that comes across his desk.” 

CANNABIS CULTURE  – The Victoria Cannabis Buyer’s Club (VCBC) has secured a new three-year lease on their location, but Victoria Police’s “Community Safety Unit” has now threatened to sue the landlord if the VCBC remains.

CANNABIS CULTURE – According to the state of Mississippi, home of the only federally approved cannabis cultivation facility, serving life in prison for a cannabis-related offense is considered fair.
