CANNABIS CULTURE – Two companies from North America’s cannabis meccas, Humboldt county and British Columbia, have announced a partnership to supply the first organic-certified seeds to Canada.

CANNABIS CULTURE – Netherlands-based biogenetics company  Perfect Plants (PP) is aiming to open a new location in the Greater Toronto Area.  They will be partnering with existing Canadian companies in developing and delivering sustainably produced plants, tissue, and seeds for agricultural use.  

CANNABIS CULTURE – The Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club (VCBC) has secured a new three-year lease in the space they’ve occupied since 1996. However, Health Canada continues to strong arm the patient focused resource center. VCBC’s landlord has been threatened with imprisonment for renewing the lease.

CANNABIS CULTURE – The cannabis industry in Brazil took a giant leap forward on April 7th when the country’s health regulatory agency (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária: ANVISA) gave a Good Manufacturing Practices – Pharma Grade (GMP) to the Brazilian branch of the multinational Ease Labs pharmaceutical group.
