This rainy week has led me back to the bubba. A familiar and cosy profile for my mind and body.
Cultivar: Bubba Kush
(OG Kush x Northern lights(most would say)
by: Fort 20 Farms
Packed: a week ago
THC: 28%
TTC: 2%
This one has a lot of history. Born in the 90s in Florida. Then moved to Cali.
Any cross or pheno of this plant tends to be a formidable force!
Pre 98 bubba is the most famous cut we know today but this one from our squad in Langley is a great and true representation of this classic! grower often lets this one go a little longer to max out expression and grease. Without losing much potency. Smart!
Should slow you down a bit on your Friday anyway
Nose:
Big familiar punch when you crack the bag.
Deep hash and musk/earth , pepper dank. With a mix of sweetness and death! Ive often heard this one described as ‘Sunday dinner’. Some chocolate some coffee and lots of savoury elements accompanied with wood and pine.
Bud:
Super dense and large nugs. Deep green and violet mix of colour. Broadleaf structure all the way. You remember this.
Cake:
Glistening and sticky bud. Tight trim leaving most heads intact. Clean and happy plant!
Dry pull:
Liquorice, sweet, peel musk and pepper fuel.
Burn:
Pepper out front but some deep musk and pine in the back.
Solid ash, good grease.
I have a tough time going back to all the latest fruity profiles after I smoke a bunch of this retro 😉
