Campaign To Overturn Manitoba’s Ban On Home Growing Will Join Quebec’s Supreme Court Appeal

“It’s time to end the reefer madness in Quebec and Manitoba.”

Under the federal Cannabis Act, Canadians are legally allowed to grow up to four cannabis plants per residence unless they live in Quebec and Manitoba, where provincial governments have banned home cultivation.

A 2019 Superior Court ruling noted the Quebec Government’s ban on home-grown cannabis was a violation of federal law, but earlier this month, Quebec’s Court of Appeal agreed with the ban.
