Owen Smith, the cannabis baker who launched the successful constitutional challenge into cannabis extracts, will be moderator.

Panelists will explore the various models of cannabis legalization and be asked to answer questions including, “what can we learn from the USA legalization initiatives?” and “how can cannabis be de-stigmatized in the mainstream medical community?”

“Three panel discussions will be held to shape further understanding on: the Medicinal Use of Cannabis, The Historical, Sacred, and Ceremonial Use of Cannabis, as well as Governmental Policy and Public Activism,” the event website says. “All viewpoints are welcomed and an informed discussion will ensure that the interests of all citizens are well represented.”

Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door.

The event also includes 20 marijuana-related exhibitors and food, drinks and product samples are included with the ticket.
