Recap TMZ 198 Secret Toronto Marijuana Experiments Exposed

The Mernahuana Zone stepped back in time with Doreen Brown to learn a great deal about Toronto’s cannabis history.

The story Brown told is almost too unreal to believe – smoking cannabis for 98 days in a hospital environment to determine cannabis effects on people. She was a Yorkville hippie and was chosen to partake in a study involving actual marijuana.

Every night Brown and nine other women smoked marijuana and the government researchers studied its effects on their productivity. Researchers continued to make their cannabis stronger until the participants refused it.

When the cannabis reached an intolerably high level they stopped wanting to inhale it. However, it was the government doctors who forced them to smoke powerful pot and a whole joint of it to themselves. No passing!

Near the end the participants collectively refused to smoke the powerful pot. We know, when people encounter powerful potent cannabis they simply inhale less of it and the government knew this too. The Canadian government knew grass was good as far back as ‘72 from their own studies!

Doctors’ learned cannabis inhalation created strong desires for more leisure activities and working together. Possibly this was their reasons for never releasing the results.

Brown was a fantastic guest, regaling us with stories about how the participants prepared for their ninety-eight day stay by purchasing music, booze and other fun supplies.

TMZ 198 also debuted new co-host Lisa Campbell, who provided fresh fun and insight. She had a strong showing and her style is going to grow in the coming weeks – tune in every Tuesday at 720pm EST or 420 PDT for The Mernahuana Zone.
