Outside of smoking a large amount of cannabis, there wasn’t much of a plan before The Mernahuana Zone. There were no videos, no segments, no news, nothing planned at all. My only plan was to get blazed, but that is known to help my creativity and we pulled it off.
We beat MP Rob Nicholson in his own backyard and as Compton predicted last week, November is my Wrestlemania month.
Once we achieved a serious liftoff The Mernahuana Zone reached out and called other lounges. Our first call was Oregon’s World Famous Cannabis Cafe and it went awesome.
We got awesomely burned by Colorado Springs Club 710 who responded to our question We are as high as the CN Tower how high are you? They are about 6,000 feet in the mountains, that’s way higher than us.
This is going to become a weekly segment. We call places where potheads in Toronto might be interested in visiting. Or just random potheads on our Skype.
Thirty minutes before showtime I learned CBC was reporting Ontario Court of Appeal had struck down mandatory minimum sentences for illegal handguns. Reading the details you couldn’t possibly make up how this happened. No stoner would believe, a person taking a Facebook selfie with a loaded illegal firearm would get caught because police burst in looking for his cousin. No one deserves three years for a stupid selfie decision and the court put limits on when and how a mandatory min should be used.
I’d suggest this bodes very well for the court to consider striking down either parts or all of the mandatory minimum sentences for cannabis growers.
The Mernahuana Zone is webcast every Tuesday on Pot TV Network in front of a stoned studio audience at Vapor Central.
