Authorities say they’ve found more than 100 marijuana plants in the western New York home of a man whose son showed up at kindergarten in clothes that smelled of marijuana.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office tells Rochester media outlets that a resource officer for the York Central School District began the investigation because of the pot odor.
Authorities say deputies went to the home of the boy’s father in the town of Leicester and found more than 35 ounces of marijuana packaged for sale, scores of pot plants and growing equipment.
They charged 41-year-old Mark Biondolillo with criminal possession of marijuana, unlawfully growing cannabis and endangering the welfare of a child.
He’s being held in jail. Information on his lawyer wasn’t available Tuesday morning.
