Drug Laws Should be Based on Science, Not Ideology

The Vienna Declaration has over 15,707 endorsements so far. Have you signed yet?

For years, scientists from around the globe have been telling us the Drug War is a failure and that it is time to try a new strategy. Legalizing and regulating all drugs, they say, will end gang control of the illegal market created by prohibition and the inevitable violence and destruction that comes with it.

Unfortunately, politicians and governments have not been paying attention – or have not felt enough pressure from the public to change destructive drug policies.

The Vienna Declaration is a call for the incorporation of scientific evidence into the process of crafting international drug policies. It is an alarm clock designed to wake up our sleepy politicians to the news that drug policy reform is a URGENT MATTER, something that must be dealt with before it is too late.

The Declaration was drafted by a team of international experts at the XVIII International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2010) in Vienna, Austria and has been endorsed by high-profile professionals in science, medicine, civil society, and law including former heads of state, religious leaders, and Nobel Laureates.

The laws are as it says.

    One is , controlled substances.
Your aloud to do drugs, and the out of control things it brings.
Just only when it gets out of hand is the government willing to actually deal with a situation.

Maybe thats why the world being out of control, is leading to people being out of control.
Is sort of has a pattern in everything we do.

The government actually promote drugs and violence by getting involed.

Because if they really wanted to deal with a problem.
They would stop doing it as one whole nation, and try to work on it as one whole nation.

Secondly to, if you do do drugs, and don’t really do drugs and you die.
The government having drugs illegal means you just killed yourself, we had no way to help you.
And futhermore the way we as government tryed to prevent sucide, never actually prevented sucide.
It just left the topic in shadows, not really being talked about to the point.
To the point, North America is depressing.
And I bet because what goes on, every other country not in north america, likes to think the rest of the globe is one, and north america is it’s own monsterous creation.
From evolving from people into living like apes.
