Farewell Tour: Nelson, BC

I’m enjoying the peaches of the Fruit belt here in the Okanagan-Kootenays.

235 people came to the Capital Theatre to hear me speak, it was a lovely crowd of older people, who gave me a standing ovation at the beginning and at the conclusion! That was so sweet and warming, it may be my first standing ovation ever, and twice at that.

I’ll be speaking again at the Main Library in VANCOUVER on MONDAY, AUGUST 17 on My Farewell Tour.

Your speech at the theatre in Nelson was so inspirational! Really makes me want to become a loyal Marijuana activist. You definitely deserved the standing ovation. My Dad was a hippy during 60-70’s but he sold out for the power and money. I myself will never sell out!

    Thanks Marc!

You still have the magic touch with the public Marc. A bunch of old hippies from Nelson come out and applaud you–even after you said in a political speech that old people should not soak up your countrys’ health care money and should be left to die. That took balls to face those grey foxes after your death sentence – nice one Marc.

Talk about forgive and forget.. maybe its mostly forgetting what they forgave you for, still thats awesome to get 250 people from nelson to do _ anything. I applaud you . Vultures gotta eat too
