Allergic reaction

A recent study has shown that cannabinoids can reduce allergic reaction to egg whites. Published in the April 2003 journal Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, the study found that THC and CBN both reduced the mucus overproduction, elevation of serum IgE, and inflammatory response typically produced upon exposure.
The researchers concluded that cannabinoids “exhibit potential therapeutic utility in the treatment of allergic airway disease.”
