A government commission in Norway is set to recommend decriminalizing all drug possession and also liberalizing censorship laws.
The commission was appointed seven years ago to recommend ways to “modernize” Norwegian laws. Members include a Supreme Court justice, a state attorney and the head of Norway’s white-collar crime unit.
The commission’s report is due to be presented to Justice Minister Odd Einar Dorum in the spring.
