A UK research team headed by Professor Roger Pertwee (CC#25 Cannabinoid Consciousness) has developed a new cannabinoid receptor agonist, called O-1057.
The compound binds to cannabinoid receptor sites in the brain and body, but unlike natural cannabinoid molecules it is water-soluble, creating the possibility for aerosol and injectable forms of synthetic cannabis medicines.
